28 Weeks - Everyone still looking good.

Had our 28 week appointment on Tuesday.  Everybody still looks good.  One baby is head down and the other is kind of laying across my stomach in a breach position.  We'll see if they both can get into the right position.  Getting more uncomfortable each day, takes a lot to get comfortable at night and if I move the babies move.  Overall, though I feel pretty good.  Hoping the babies stay in there until 36 weeks!  We are getting closer to having everything done at home.  Cribs aren't yet put up but Marcus has plans to do it soon.  We also need to see if both car seats will fit in the car?? We will probably be van shopping in the near future.

26 weeks

So I was supposed to post a 24 week photo, but it didn't get done til 26 weeks!  Oh well :)
As you can see I have grown a ton.  At our 24 week appointment the boys were each 1.5 pounds and looking healthy!  They are really kicking me now and I can tell they are getting stronger.

20 Week Photo! Mom and Baby Boys!!!!(+Charlie who doesn't leave her side)

20 Weeks

Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound and doc visit.  Everything went great.  The babies looked good and the doctor said Jamie was doing well.  They had originally told us that they would see her every 2 weeks after 20 weeks but everything looked so good they told her she didn't need to come back for 4 weeks.  We are very thankful that both babies and Jamie are doing very well at this point!

Jamie made cookies to tell everyone what we were having.  As you can tell we are having...TWO BOYS!!!!!  We've been feeling their movement and even a few kicks over the past couple of weeks and are very excited to start planning their room.

3D Photo of Baby A's face and hand...apparently he's already a thumb sucker.

3D Photo of Baby B's Face.  The photo has his face, his hand and Umbilical cord.  He was not as cooperative when we tried to get a picture of his face.

Profile of Baby B

Since the babies are laying transverse their heads are together on one side and their feet are together on the other.  The next two photos are of their heads and feet together.  No worries, the babies will likely change positions before they are ready to be delivered.

Maybe Halfway There

Twins are usually born around 36 weeks, so at 18 I'm halfway there.  We are so excited for our ultrasound at 20 weeks!  Still can't decide for sure if we want to find out the genders.  But probably will!  Since we decided not to sell our house we've been doing some updates; tore out a wall to make our family room bigger, it looks awesome.  Picked new paint colors and flooring today; I'm so excited to see it finished.  Since I can't help install the floors or paint it's going to be up to Marcus this time.   When this is done...BABY ROOM DECORATING!!!!

16 weeks!

We had another doctors appointment Tuesday, everything looks great. The babies' heart beats were 150 and 140. We have an ultrasound scheduled in 4 weeks woohoo!

Been feeling much better lately.  I have even been walking at lunch now. I thought I might try to do a little yoga after I walked but its amazing how much flexibility you lose after 4 months of no stretching and no working out.  I couldn't even touch my toes, I suppose that might have something to do with the baby bump too.

I will try to update this more often now :)

Twins!

Marcus and I thought it would be fun to start a blog to keep friends and family up to date on our newest developements.  If you haven't heard, we are expecting twins due March 16th!!!  After two tries at IVF we are so incredably blessed to be pregnant.  My hips are greatful we only have one progesterone shot left! And Marcus, who has to give me the shots every night, might be more excited than me to be done :)
We had another ultrasound today and it is so much fun to see the babies moving around.  We are just in awe every time we see them.
